We at PRISM are all about celebrating those people who go out of their way to make a difference in the lives of others. It is, therefore, with the greatest of pleasure that we honour the lifetime work of Canon Precentor Rev. Jennifer Chalmers on her retirement from the position.
She becomes the first person to be awarded Fellow of PRISM honoris causa, bestowed at a service in Napier, New Zealand attended by the Bishop of Waiapu Andrew Hedge and Archdeacons David van Oeveren and John Matthews.
Jennifer has been a stalwart supporter of PRISM and its values, and has been tireless in her efforts to make the Anglican Church, its choirs and musical ensembles more inclusive. She is seen here shaking the hand of Australasia Area Rep Dr Nik Krawchenko, and sporting her new hood.
Congratulations from all of us here at PRISM!
